On State Highway 58, just north of the city, Lower Hutt and South of the city of Upper Hutt. 3kms from Manor Park Railway station and Golf Course.
A few kilometres away from a golf driving range, 4 Golf courses, one of which is International standard, Rimutaka Forest park, Belmont Regional Park where there are many tramping/walking tracks, Staglands animal reserve and one of the best brown trout fishing rivers in the Island, the Hutt river.
8 Kms away is the “Gold Coast” seaside with great beaches and many boating/ yachting opportunities.
Just at the bottom of the hill, are two of the locations where many scenes from the LORD of the RINGS movie was filmed.
And only 18kms away is the Wellington City, the centre, for night life cafes/clubs/ Restaurant etc and the Te Papa Museum and the Houses of Parliament.
